About Me.

I know this is out of no where, why am I doing an "about me", if I already posted 2 blogs....well my teacher was talking to us on Friday, and she told us that a blog is a personal thing. It's not like an essay where everything needs to be formal and just topic related, which got me thinking, the one way I can personalize my blog is to post one blog about me. I also feel that it would help you understand my blog better.

I am Navya Garimella (duh!). I was born and brought up in India. I lived there for 15 years of my life, long time right? I moved to The United States of America an year ago. This was a major change in my life. Moving all way to the other side of the globe was not a simple change to get used to. Obviously, Culture was a big change. But that was not the only thing. For instance, the first mistake I made when I moved here was, i speller color as "colour". I used to write long sentences that described everything in detail, just like how my teachers used to ask us to do in india. But here, I was asked to write short and crisp sentences.

I did not enjoy the change in the beginning. I thought moving was the worst thing that happened to me, I did not belong here, all my friends are in India.It took me 6 months to get used to the system here. Now, I love it. In my opinion, this change was the best thing that happened to me. It made me bold. It thought me who I really am. Change led me to discover my personality out side my comfort zone. I became more confident and more out going. One of the reasons behind me Blogging about my life story is, if any of you, ever move anywhere even go away from home to college, do not worry because things might not seem right in the beginning but you will end up loving the new change and the impact it left on you.
